It’s election time in Ontario! I thought I’d pull a few housing and real estate related articles as well as some analysis of what the main parties have said to date on these items.

This is in no way an exhaustive list so, if these issues matter to you, please do your own research before heading to the polls. Here we go…

Zoocasa dove into the parties’ platforms and public comments, and pulled out some nuggets.

Backed by a Toronto Real Estate Board study, Buzz Buzz Home presents what it sees as eight stats which paint the picture of housing, particularly in the GTHA, ahead of the election.

A well-known urban land economist at Ryerson University writes in the Financial Post about the need for clarity on land supply and demand as it relates to affordability.

And the Toronto Star shares the Ontario Real Estate Association’s poll which asked millennials in the province about their top concerns heading into the election. Guess what keeps them up at night….
